Can I make my 2.5.20 page mobile by adding an extension?

Post by orlandorona+ » Mon Apr 13, 2015 12:53 pm

Google is about to demote the search status of all websites that aren't mobile-friendly. My joomla 2.5.20 page isn't. Can I fix that by adding an extension? If so, which one?

My designer says I need much more:
--Move it to a new godaddy server because the current one can't handle the newer Joomlas
--Install the latest Joomla and the framework that makes it mobile-friendly
--That would require new templates for my site

My website works fine for me needs. Do I really need to rebuild it and move it to a better server? Please tell me there's an extension that will do the trick.

The website is [removed] in case that help.

The Template Design is not Responsive. An extension cannot help you with that.

That is so disappointing but very helpful to know.

Some extension-maker like Responsivizer and MobileDetector advertise that their products will do the trick. I guess that's just not true?

How is it vulnerable, Mandville? In Joomla it says it's up to date ("No updates available
You already have the latest Joomla! version, 2.5.20."), although I couldn't seem to update two elements: Akeeba Backup Core and Xmap.

I very much appreciate your help.
