Changing an article links template.....

Post by radams » Wed Oct 19, 2011 6:19 pm

I am not to sure if I should be posting this here. If its not suppose to be i apologize.

On my home page I have multiple places where there are links to article that I made with-in Joomla. The issue that I am having is that these links to the articles, when clicked, show up using the home template and not the interior template.

I am using 3 different modules (Latest News, Lof ArticlesSlideShow Module, Articles - Newsflash). They all have this same issue. I am running Joomla 1.6. I made sure that the templates are setup up properly and even set the interior template as default.

If there is any other info that you need please let me know. My question is how to make it where clicking the articles / read mores pull up a template other then the one where these links reside on.

OK, create e a hidden menu.

create menu items linking to each article.

Assign the template you require to the menu items.
