I'd guess it's in the images directory. Use Firefox with the firebug extension and you'll find it in a few seconds.

If you know where the image is, then just overwrite that image with yours. It's probably hardcoded in index.php or a css attribute, not something you would change normally. If you have to do that, you'd go the templates section and edit the proper file.

you can do the change in index.php :
<div id="header-image">
<img alt="TPL_BEEZ5_LOGO" src="/demo3/templates/beez5/images/fruits.jpg">
</div>

I found this post looking for updating the logo and banner too.

I got the logo changed in the Advanced options (THANKS!)

As far as the banner, I found in my searching that you can just change the "fruits.jpg" but you can get it to swap out by putting something in module position-15.

I am doing this on http://tgfergusonconsulting.com

good day dear friends

well i have the same /( or lemme say allmost the same) questions here. i have activated the template beez 5 and i want to replace the banner with some image-slider or a gallery.

note i have installed two image-slider. so this might not be a problem. My question is - how to
swap the banner with the image gallery?

Entrecon - you seem to have a answer to exactly this question: you suggest to take the position 15.

Well is this the position of the banner itself?! that would be fantastic and overwhelming.

iguess that you are right - i have a look at the page - and yes i can see - that we need to have a closer llook at exactly this position. see http://literaturen.org/?tp=1

well - fantastic - i will try out if i can replace the banner with the image gallery.

well first of all i will try to switch of the banner - how will this be accomplished?

hello again dear friends

as for the idea of replacing the banner with a image slider

i think that we can replace with dj-image-slider

The reason is beez5 template styles which overwrite the slider styles. You need to remove them from templates/beez5/css/beez5.css (123 line)
Code:
#header ul {
max-width: 1030px;
}

what do you think about this!?

love to hear from you
greetings
