Hello All,

We had hired someone to convert our design into a Joomla Template. Looks like they did an OK job with the design but the load time is horrible. It will take upto a minute to load a page or go between pages once in. Can anyone help us optimize this template. Any suggestions or pointers will help. Note the site is not live yet.

Thanks

Loads quite fine for me.. But the images used are a bit heavy.. You may want to reduce the size of the images and it should be okay..
You may also want to remove some unwanted components/modules like Mega menu which has no use for this website.

Edit..
On a closer look:
There are three banner images which size up to be around 700KB - you might want to reduce their size
- In case you use photoshop to edit your photos you might want to use the "Save for Web & Devices" option to optimize for web viewing.
The home page size is 1.72 MB on load .. which is too much for any website
There are stale scripts like two iframe which are not working and hidden from the page

I'm really, really a newbie but wanted to let you know what I saw when I checked out your website. The banner scrolled to another picture - that was identical to the one before. Cute design though. Don't know if the problem is due to the fact that I am using a Mac?
