changing default header to an image rotator

Hello, as the title said im trying to replace the default header picture with an image rotator module (using simple spotlight)...i've made a custom module position for the header but after i put the module there...for some reason it overlap with the older bg?

I did it long time ago with a template (can't remember really) and works. Just change the header picture for an flash archive and fix it in template... need some of html, i don't think can do it in administrator way
