Help regarding Freichat installation

Trying to install Freichat extension. It appears the way to upload package file is different. README with the extension reads

Place the freichat folder in your CMS installed directory.

For Example, If you have installed joomla , freichat folder should be placed in
/your/joomla/installed/directory/freichat

* Enter the following path for installation
http://your_website.com/freichat/installation/index.php

* Fill in the required details and after installation your settings will be
saved in /freichat/arg.php
You can change your password in that file.

Please Note By default the password will be "adminpass"

For my website www.splendiddigitalsolutions.com, what should I place for Install Directory field? How do I enter path for installation?

You just upload the freichat directory to your site.
When you look then with your ftp-program you should see freichat/
Then its correct. Then install freichat.
