extension update results in 404

Hello,

I'm trying to update JCE Editor from 2.4.3 to 2.4.5 and every time I try it

a. via the menu choice specifically by JCE Editor
b. via the Extension Manager using Upload
c. via the Extension Manager via directory

I get the typical 404 message, page not found.

In the meantime, I did manage to update (using (c), both (a) and (b) kept 404ing) the Admin Tools extension.

Turning debugging on resulted in:

JCE and Admin Tools extension...... you should un-install and reinstall again.
