Hi,
Thanks for your Fantastic Visitor Counter for Joomla.
I didn't upgraded yet to the latest, but I know it will be the best.

However, I want to ask 2 question about your Visitor Counter.:D

? Do Vinaora Visitor Counter will COUNT if the webpage just loaded half-way, and Vinaora module still not loaded ?
For example, if put the Vinaora module at the last place, where it's the last module to load in my webpage? ;)

Suggestion for future development by me.. (Sorry if it already in the latest update)
Maybe Vinaora can make a panel inplugin/component, so we can get more detail on the visitors coming based on Vinaora Module Statistic. :D

Thanks a lot for the Module..

Anyway of getting this counter to work without Joomla?
If I needed to run this module, what are the core Joomla files to run it?

Your module is not full compliant with CSS 2.1 due to (I guess) an error in modules/mod_vvisit_counter/tmpl/default.php line number 47.
You should remove 'align: center' which cause an error during CSS checking (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator).

What is your Joomla version ?
Because, we can only support for Joomla 1.5, NOT Joomla 1.0 anymore.

I have checked that the visits to my site not match Google Analytics.
Vinaora shows fewer visits than Google. :(
Why? I don´t now...

Because it count by IP Address.
With version 2.0 it'll count by Joomla's session.

I use Vinaora Visitors Counter and JoomlaWatch. I have noticed that just a fraction of the site visitors are counted by the Vinaora component. Is the counter connected to the page where it is shown only and not to the site?

Hi there,

I have attached a zip file that can be used to install the dutch translation (nl-NL) of Vinaora Visitors Counter through Joomla's backend installater.

It's made using Vinaora Visitors Counter 1.7.3 and Joomla 1.5.15.

With kind regards,
Mirjam

Hi, this is a very nice module. I could suggest more statics, and maybe separated stadistics, like, i.e, stadistics alone for how many times a module has been used, or stadistics about how many times a file has been downloaded.

I install this module and configured to my own languaje and it work the first time, but now in the field "We have" it stuck in We have. No matter what I put in, always show We have x guest, x member...

How unstock it?

Hi!
Thanks for this nice module.
I installed v. 2.0.0 but there are 2 problems.
1 - I can't eliminate the little icons near the statistics
2 - I don't want to see "We have ... online ... members etc." but only the number of online like previous version.

Hoper you can help me.
Thanks.

Hi there --- is it possible to adjust this module so it ignores bots etc? All i want to count is real live visitors. Within the first three minutes of loading this module, ive had 7 "visitors". Not really an accurate description of my site :)

Why are there so many bots anyway. ?

thanks for the input...

Same question from me :-[ Within the two months of loading my new website, almost 2000 hits, of which approx. 1700 were bots :'(

Thnx for your support, and keep up the good work!
Theo.

This would be great!

I've told my client to rely on his Google Analytic for accurate info but for the time being, leave this Module 'as is' of 'for show' since it's the most aesthetically pleasing counter available.

If bot hits could be excluded this counter would be #1!

Hi mskoczek,

Don't know much about PHP scripting, but my first guess would be a corrupted PHP file (helper.php corrupt) . Try to upload the file or the complete module again to your webspace? ;)

Regards,
Theo.
