Hi,
This extension only support the background effect of the Supersized.
If you need the thumb and navigation.
You need to customize the template and extension a little bit in order to get it work.

Hi,

Thanks for the extension. It seems to be exactly what is was looking for.

Just a problem (big one!) I can't make it work where I want. The module display the slideshow at the bottom of the page (debug position). I've tried all the module positions but it always stay there.

I will be very grateful if you can take a look at it.

My website : http://www.tiwisport.com/

Thanks.

This extension is for full page background slideshow.
It is base on the supersized.js and it is the behavior of this script (create a supersized div before ending of body tag).
If you want, you can try customize the supersized.js script.
Thanks for your consideration,

Sorry, as we're checking your site again.
We find out that. It is not the extension problem.
But because you have a div over the background slideshow.
That's why you only see the bottom.
Actually the slideshow is running.
If you try to zoom out.
You will see the background slideshow behind it.
Or remove the background css for
#block-header > div
You need to customize your template to fix the background slideshow.

Hi,
If you want a slide at the header, then you should find a header slideshow extension.
This extension is only for full page background.
If you want only display the background at header.
Try add a bg on the main content. it will over the slide background.
Best regards,
Yuan Chen

atdsw wrote:Hi there, is there any documentation or any notes on how to get this working?
Hi atdsw,
We don't have any video or document about this extension currently. I think this extension is very easy to install and use. All you have to do is install it, place it into any position of the template, hide the module title, input a images path, upload all images you want into the images path you specify in the module and all done.
If you need more information about the extension options you can check here http://buildinternet.com/project/supers ... tions_docs
If you can't see the supersized background. I think maybe it is your template problem. div overlay please check the content background it need to be transparent in order to see the supersized background behind it.

Hope it will help.

Yuan Chen

This module seems great , but I've got an error while installing mod_funsupersized_dev-1.0.1.zip :
"JFolder::files : path is not a folder (...) /tmp/install_4f20169ccd603"

So I tried to unzip the file and transfered by ftp : same error

ovh

Hi,
I haven't tested yet.
But if Joomla 2.5 compatible with Joomla 1.7 then I think it will work.
Please try and let us know, is it work?
If not maybe we will fix this bug.

My website is installed in a sub-folder but your zip file was correctly uploaded to my /temp folder.

This Component not supports categories for menu-items. Or did i miss something? I would like for all menu items, different images. Does it work (without creating a module for each menu item)...?

Thanks for this fantastic module. It works in joomla 2.5 also.

But I have a small display problem on Android tablet. The background is a bit horizontal stretched in landscape, and move to portrait, the image likes to be shrink in horizontal or locate at the float left.

I am sure it is not the problem of the module, because when use Firefox browser in this tablet, everything is OK, the problem only happens in Android default browser.

Any solution for this problem? Maybe just css?

Cheers,
Mcwolf

Hi,
the module is work fine on Joomla 2.5.1 I've tested it.
Please make sure you have config the module correctly.
enable it.
select the page you want to display.
And the last thing check the load jQuery? params. Do you need to load the jQuery or you've already had? I hope it will work for you.
Best regards,

I think it is the problem in JS.
You should ask the supersized author.

Hi,
Please check your templates div CSS background, a lot of problem is from the template background that overlay the supersized background.
and is your site have jQuery loaded. If not please enabled the Load jQuery in the module params.

Hi
Now it works!
But I have another problem now, something that is superimposed on the image. I am posting a link to the site to better understand: http://www.astinteggiature.com/
(I already tried to check the main.css, but found no clues about what might be. I installed the template multi pastell 2.5.0)
Thanks for the help
