Archive in the form of Calendar?

Hi,

Is there some extension available which works as archive but when we click/mouseover it, it may open a calendar on dropdown and we can select the days for previous articles?
I wanna this type of extension for a daily newspaper (Replica of paper newspaper). And we have to change the paper everyday and put the previous paper (about 4 to 8 pages as a single day newspaper) in Archive.............
