I am a newbie at Joomla World, I need some suggestions/help about some issues. Yes, I have a lot of questions, sorry for that
Some of my questions are maybe too much template or extension based but I am hoping to find people using the same components like me.
I am using Joomla 2.5 , Reflex Template from RocketTheme ( you can check it here,
http://demo.rockettheme.com/ ) and installed K2 on it. Curently, I am working at local, didn't get any hosting yet.
- Downloaded Language extension from
http://getk2.org/extend/translations , also uploaded/installed but doesnt work? I cannot understand how to configure it? Can you help me please?
- When I get into an article to read, rating part has 6 stars ( kinda 5.5 stars). At demo site, it's 5 stars, normal. How can I solve that issue? ( rate_6stars.jpeg attached)
- For K2 items, when you put them to main module position for example, Where is a setting like "Show maximum 10 articles" at home page? This way I don't want to load 100 articles as I am building kinda blog site? It can be a plugin giving me "Next-Previous Buttons" too? Can you recommend the best way for this please?
- And of course css problem...I want to custimize the modules, maybe bg images, colors, font changes for K2 Comments, Tools, Users, etc modules. I searched all joomla.org, K2 forums, other resources from internet etc for more than 5 hours. CSS file can be compressed, use firebug etc, I read all. I still cannot find the related
- I want to use K2 Tag Cloud but even the settings are "Min font size (%)=75, Max font size (%)=500", all words' fonts are the same font, nothing big or small. How can I fix this? ( k2_tag_cloud.jpeg attached)
- How can I remove the "Tweet , Facebook Like, g+1" coming from K2 default? I wanna put a more stylish one by removing it. ( k2_social_remove.jpg attached)
