Component- Redirect in Joomla 2.5

Hello experts,
I have a website in Joomla 2.5. I have made use of Redirect to redirect all my broken links which appear in the list. However, the links are not getting redirected.
For example: www[dot]embedsols[dot]com/component/tag/electronicsprojects.html is not getting redirected to www[dot]embedsols[dot]com
I ensured that the links are enabled and so is the component.
Please help !

is the "plugin" enabled?

do you get ANY urls to redirect?
