"Suggested articles" Module

Hello everyone,

At the moment I am using a module called Flexi Trendy News but it merely lists the articles of a specific category according to the number of views.
But I'm looking for a module that allows me to create a list of "recommended articles", articles that I can choose individually from time to time.
Can you recommend a module that is right for me?

Joomla comes with the Related Items module that automatically displays suggested articles those are related, based on its meta keyword. Does it meet your need?

Thank you for your answer.
The problem is that this module will be showed only on the hompage, where all the latest news are, so the Related item modules does not work in homepage.
A mod with the option to choose any single article manually would be perfect for me.
