User Profile plugin - how to change date of birth format

Hello,
to add few fields, I installed CB but I recently I found a topic about the "User Profile" plugin which could fit all our needs.
(just need to find a module to display picture of all members or a way to build it)
I activated the DOB field, but in the text area, the date is displayed in the following format : Y-M-D
If I input directly 06/11/1967 (6 november), it's saved as June, 11
how to set format D-[URL banned] ?
