Moderator unable to log in to profile on kunena

Post by Ironside » Mon Mar 02, 2015 5:59 pm

I got this extremely annoying problem on my forum. One of my global moderators cannot log into his profile. Neither can I, I get the following error
libraries/joomla/base/object.php on line 213

Also, if I go to the Kunena backend and then Kunena, I can't access to do any editing under his username, I get a 500 error. I can't understand why this is happening, it's not happening with anybody else. I did notice that he had 1800 friends on jomsocial, not sure if this would influence anything

If anyone can shed some light on what is going on I would be very grateful

Please include the full text of the error (not just the filename and line number, although those are helpful).

Also include the exact version of Kunena and of Joomla.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 269198 bytes) in /home//public_html/libraries/phputf8/mbstring/core.php on line 121

I have removed one element which I don't want people to see.

I'm on Joomla! 2.5.24 & Kunena 3.0.6

What is strange is that if you log out of your account, I can log into his profile perfectly okay, it's only when I'm log then I can't. He has got something like 1800 friends in his Jomsocial profile, I'm wondering if there are too many

With that information, I suspect it is the size of the JomSocial friend list, causing the problem. I suggest temporarily disabling the Kunena JomSocial plugin and see if that clears it. If so, I suggest you talk to the author of that plugin.

Brilliant idea, why didn't I think of that, I'll let you know what happens

Yes, you were right, once I disabled the Jomsocial Kunena I was able to access the profile, albeit the Kunena profile. But that doesn't really solve the problem, I need to be able to dramatically reduce the amount of friends he has. I wondered if this could be done from the database, I did have a quick love and I couldn't really see anything that looked like it was the friends list. Any ideas?
