Site keeps redirecting/can't get to admin url
I cant get to admin url because it keeps redirecting. I went to users in backend and there are users other then myself and there is no place on the site for them to be added so I guess I have been hacked. the site works still but I can't get to admin. What can i do?

If your site has been hacked then you probably need to restore it to the stage it was before the problems first started appearing. If you do not have a reliable site backup then I do not have too many other helpful suggestions except to
1) Rename the [current] website folder in on your webhost
2) Create a new folder on your webhost with the same name
3) Install Joomla in this new folder; and then
4) See if you can access the admin backend using your existing site URL.
If this simple procedure works, then you can set about rebuilding your site again. After you get your site going, install a good backup tool (e.g. Akeeba Backup) and make a copy of the site (download the site backup to your PC) and make regular backups in future. Regular site backups are the key to recovering after disasters like the one you seem to be now experiencing. Good luck.

thanks. could i remove the users that are in the database using phpmyadmin and will joomla default back to me as the superadmin or could I add a new one?

About your website probably being hacked - read this: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582854
About the forced redirecting on your fronted:
About the forced redirecting on your fronted:
- Check the dates when the ".htaccess" and "index.php" file in main webdir of your website were changed, and if those dates correspond to your last actions with those files?
- Check the content of the files mentioned above, do you notice any odd stuff or differences regards to original files?
