Where can I look for my site?

Post by BeLong » Sun Dec 27, 2015 10:35 pm

Hi, I built my Joomla site 4 years ago, I'm still a complete novice, and I don't remember where the files are installed, local or on a remote server. Is there a way to find out where they are installed so I can back them up. If they are installed on a remote server how do I back them up there?

Thank you,
Brent

How are you accessing the site? In other words, what is the URL you type to access your site?

In an extended conversation with customer service at Go Daddy it appears my webpage has been hacked and its been past 30 days so I can't restore a backup, if I even knew there was a backup. I'm able to get into the back end administer page but it sounds like its going to be way over my head to know how to clean it up. I'm too tired tonight to even think about it.

Thank you
Thank you,
Brent

Thank you, but Go Daddy doesn't keep backups past 30 days. Yes, I can log in to my administration page.
Thank you,
Brent
