hosting windows to hosting linux
hi
I have this problem:
hello after switching from windows hosting to linux hosting does not display any article in homepage. I checked the database and there are. and also in the admin panel there are

Have you turned off SEF in Global Configuration?
Windows uses a web.config file, while linux uses .htaccess. Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess and then you can turn on SEF with rewrite.
The tmp and log path in configuration.php must also match the physical path of the server.

I have tried to set SEF off in global configuration in admin panel of joomla and rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess but nothing!

Are your circumstances precisely the same as the original poster that you are moving from Windows IIS server to Apache or are you just sticking your post where you "think" it belongs?

I have resolved: update to joomla 2.5.7 and the problem was resolved.
