This is my second joomla site and the first one was easy to install. This one is hosted on Godaddy and I've had trouble the whole time. When I go to the site on the front end everything looks fine, but when I try to login on the backend - it looks fine until I type my UN and PW and hit enter. Then it goes back to www.mysite.com/index.php and posts a 404 Component not found.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How do I find out what component is not found? I looked at the local folder and the ones online and all the folders are there?

GoDaddy said that it might be happening since I was setup on a microsoft server. They are going to transfer me to a linux server and see if that helps.

I'm curious about this version of Joomla as well. I just upgraded via GoDaddy to 2.5.3, and then clicked on the update to 2.5.3 on the actual Joomla site as well. I'm working on my personal server redesigning a site for a client. I admit I'm new to Joomla and don't know all the ins and outs, but I've done previous upgrades with no errors. I can still view the site and get into my site administrator, but when I try and do anything in the backend, even just a CSS change I get a fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JSession::checkToken() in /home/content/32/6734132/html/joomla/dajuana.com/administrator/components/com_templates/controllers/source.php on line 151

Why can I not work on my site after this upgrade? How do I fix?
