SOLVED: SEO/SEF URL's not working.

Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

SOLVED: SEO/SEF URL's not working.

Hello to all,

I am just doing my first steps with Joomla 2.5.4 installation, DB setting, everything went smooth. I got stuck on the Global Configuration's SEO Settings.
  • Search Engine Friendly URLs = YES
  • Use URL rewriting = NO
  • Adds Suffix to URL = NO
  • Unicode Aliases = NO
Apparently everything easy. I can click through different menus in the front-end, the browser shows properly the links behind the menus in SEF fashion (http://mydomanin.com/index.php/category...).

Just the URL in the browser's address bar does not change!!!! If you want to have a look to the site, here: http://www.direitoparaler.com/

I made sure the htaccess had the extension *.txt, in order to be sure this will not generate any trouble. As well I tried to disable the System Redirect plug-in without success.

Anyone could give ma a bright idea, please?

Sorry, problem is identified. Joomla is working fine :D - I had a problem with my browser!
