i am not able to see joomla in my website

Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

let me know were i made mistake
Error 403 - Forbidden

You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges.

for the site i am using 1and1 server

Whether this is a new installation OR a site that you have developed locally - in order for any help to be given you MUST help yourself by providing useful information.

So please explain a) what you were doing b) how you have done it

Run the Forum post Assistant to provide the information to help us resolve the issue.
