Hello, I know this is a common problem.. I just started to get this in Joomla 2.5

All my directories have 777 permission, already checked.. so what more I can look to solve that?

Did you copy these files from your localhost this is usually caused from these settings not being correct.

public $log_path = 'home/domain/public_html/logs';
public $tmp_path = 'home/domain/public_html/tmp';

Under your global configs. Fixing these path names might solve the problem.
configuration.php .

Please run the Forum post Assistant to provide the information to help us try and resolve the issue.

Please be aware that 777 is (like the 666 of he who should not be mentioned) very dangerous.

Are you on shared/virtual or dedicated hosting?

If you are on a dedicated server you have opted to create and manage the server software yourself, including permissions and ownership of file issues.

The minimum requirements of Joomla! are declared in the Technical Requirements and it is your responsibility to ensure the server meets those and is otherwise ready for Joomla! to be installed.

Suggest you read the Security Section of the documentation wiki at http://docs.joomla.org/security for further information, and check the appropriate documentation at your host or the Apache/PHP/MySQL sites for correct server management detail.

If you come back for further help please help yourself by completing the FPA as requested and provide detailed information about what you were trying to do, what you have actually done, and how you did it rather than the uninformative one liners so far provided.

Thanks.
