Hi,

I have migrated my site to a new host but am having issues getting it to work. I have updated the configuraion.php file but get the error message below.

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/insureonline.net.nz/httpdocs/libraries/joomla/cache/storage/memcache.php on line 114

Is some one able to give me direction to the issue?

Thx

Not exactly the same error sting, but check the php version your new host server is running, I've had something similar in the past (you should be able to see it in the admin pages).

[Mod note: Moved from General Forum to Installation Forum;]

Please provide full details of your method of transfer and please run the Forum Post Assistant to provide the information to help us try and resolve the issue.
Please follow the instructions in the post and the program pack closely.

You may be able to correct any missing or corrupted files by uploading a copy of a fresh Joomla archive (of the same version of Joomla as your site).

Make a backup of your current site and database.
Upload the Joomla directories and files and overwrite the directories and files in the joomla_root/ directory (which in your case appears to be htdocs/).
YOU MUST KEEP THE SAME FILE HIERARCHY!
Do not upload the installation/ directory as you are NOT reinstalling Joomla.
Check the site's functionality.
