Please create the database first in your MySQL

The database username root does not have any password unless you changed it using tools such as phpMyAdmin.

If you are using your own username create the database as cheetooh mentions and make sure that all the PRIVILEGEs have been GRANTed to the username for this database.

I am using Wampserver2.2
When clicking on the server I get a menu that contains:
Localhoost
PhpMyadmin
www directory
Apache
Php
Mysql

When I click on localhost I get a listing of what is in www directory that confirms to requirements. I have my Joomla 2.5 folder in www directory. I see it in Localhost.
When I click on PhpMyAdmin I can create a Database and I did. I named the Daatabase Joomla

I do not understand what I am not doing right. When I create a database in PhpMyAdmin isn't that creating the database you are talking about?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

WampServer 2 installs with the database username root and the password is blank (nothing nada zilch!).

These are the default settings. So unless you have changed the configuration files of MySQL itself these remain the same.

When installing on Wamp you do not need to create the database in advance as this will be created during the installation process itself. This is different from online servers where invariably you must have the database and user set up before installation of Joomla, or anything else!

(btw for future reference, doing screen shots are far easier than taking photographs of your screen.)
