I have WHM/Cpanel installed on my VPS, and have always kept it up to date, along with Joomla, but I notice it all still runs on Centos 5.3
As updates are for both improvements and security, I was wondering if I should update Centos to 5.9 or jump straight to 6.4?
I have no idea what effect that would have on Joomla, and the server as a whole, so any help appreciated.
I could just leave everything as is as it is working fine

Anyone else agree?
I worry after updating Windows 7 to 8 and all my software was 'supposed' to work, but didn't ... all sorted now though, and like W8 after a couple of weeks of hating it

+1 Just do it. Come on. I dare ya!
That reminds me. I have a spare PC. I been thinking about installing CentOS on it since that's what I use for a rather large client (don't ask). Maybe today will be the day. Or, maybe today will be best in the recliner. Decisions decisions.
