joomla 2.5 can't install

Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

joomla 2.5 can't install

Hellow everyone
I am trying to install joomla 2.5.11 on webserver and I have already uploaded the unzipped joomla package in public_htmi directory. When I visit the front end of my site I don't see the installer page and can't begin the installation process. I see a white screen, the address line shows something like: "www......../installation/index.php" and that's all. What is going on, what is the fault? Any suggestions?

Hi kagiand, isn't easy to recognize what caused your issue, but i hope that the following link can help the new installation of Joomla:

Hello. As suggested by others, you could visit joomla docs for the complete installation guide. Or if you're more of a visual person, you could search for videos showing the installation of joomla :)
