Auto logoff from backend when go to another page

Hi!

I have quite strange issue/web site behaviour for me (have not seen such before)...

I have migrated J1.5.X and V1.X to J.5.X and V2.X (both latest versions)! All works fine on test server... But when I move web site to production server it works "buggy":
1.)Joomla admin logs off when moving to another page in Joomla admin;
2.)Front end user log offs right after log in;
3.)When add to cart product - it opens this mini cart pop-up which says that product is sucessfully added, but in reality not - cart (and cart module) is empty (and when checking get response - json also "says: that order is currently empty)...

Sessions are stored in mysql tables (checked), session lifetime is 3600...

Any ideas what could be the problem and how to solve it? server configuration (server is updated to php 5.4.23 specially for new J2 and VM2)...? I suppose that most believe server issue as on another server it works just fine...

1. Clear the cache
2. Make sure the live_site variable in configuration.php is not set
3. Make sure the log and tmp path options are correct
4. Check Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Warnings and fix any errors it mentions
5. Use Forum Post Assistant to give us diagnostics data about your site if the above doesn't fix ya. Paste its output directly into a reply.

Additional info - in new Joomla installation process (on the same server) on Step 4 : Database after filling DB info and pressing Next, opens alert with this message "The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again."!

On a reread of your OP it seems I may have been in automatic reply mode -- you clearly have a server config problem, not a Joomla problem. Sessions are critical for all the functionality you're having trouble with, and it sounds like your present web server doesn't provide session functionality.

If this server is managed by your hosting company, you may have to upgrade your service plan before you can use Joomla.

If you built the webserver stack yourself, you'll need to rebuild or reconfigure your webserver software. It's possible the session feature is present but not configured to be active, or misconfigured and unable to operate, or was simply not included when the webserver software was built, etc.
