IIS 7 & Joomla 1.7 = 'Infinite loop detected in JError'

Hi,

I started a fresh install of Joomla on our Windows Server (64x) using Microsoft Web Plataform Installer, the IIS website and database was created without errors but in the first try to open we face the following msg:

Infinite loop detected in JError

After a little searchs I found that article explanining how to enable the 'debug errors': http://docs.joomla.org/Infinite_loop_de ... Joomla_1.7

So, righ now the error msg is:

I found that the user prompted for dbconnection during install was not created in the MySQL.

I downloaded the last version 1.7.2 from Joomla website (http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsre ... ackage.zip) and decompress to another folder, point my IIS website to it and:

- after open the webpage and follow the instruction (http://server/installation/) I realized that the CONFIGURATION.PHP was not created, so I copied from the old install (made by Microsoft Web Plataform).

I found this happened after I allowed chrome to save my password and then changed the password in Joomla.

I am using godaddy.com and after two conversations with them and reading any post I can find I am back to ask this question.

I had my site designed in a subfolder when I updated my website to point to the sub folder the site was not working correctly, I moved the site back to the folder it was pointed to for some testing, and now my site is getting Infinite loop detected in JError. I did add the code to the error file to write out the details.

I have checked the configuration.php file and it looks like it is correct. I can point to another database and everything is fine but when I move it back to the correct database, same error. godaddy support tried to help but one they decided it was in joomla, they suggested I look here. I have tried to create a new database and import it in phpmyadmin and I keep getting errors there.

I am guessing this is an access issue in the database but am not sure how to correct this without making it worse.

I have the same problem when I download the site to localhost. I use xampp.

How can I solve it?
