I'm working on 1.7.3 version. Kind of new to everything and when I save after updating a sample menu item, I get the following error:
Attachment:
menu error.jpg

JFolder: :folder: Path is not a folder. Path: C:\CustomerData\webspaces\webspace_00274945\wwwroot

Followed by: Menu item successfully saved

I'm using Domain.com as my host. wwwroot/ is my root director where all of my Joomla stuff is stored. I'm guessing somewhere it came up with the path C:\CustomerData\webspaces\webspace_00274945\wwwroot which must be were my root folder is located on their server. Not sure if Joomla would prefer it to only read (wwwroot/)by itself w/out the (c:\....etc).

Much less, does anyone know where the (Menu Item's) directory is located to edit the path? Or how to resolve this problem?

Regardless, after pulling the frontend up, the website did update with the edited information in the menu item.

Mod. Note: Split post into it's own topic. Please ask your question making a new topic. Do not piggyback to an old post regarding another version of Joomla.

Use the Forum Post Assistant to post your server environment. Then we can help you.

Mod. Note: Your other topic asking the same question has been deleted. Please do not post the same question several times.

You are appearing to be hosted on Windows. Are you running Joomla under Apache or IIS?

I asked you to supply more information using the Forum Post Assistant (link in orange frame - Forum Rules).

The reason I made a new topic was b/c you said; "Please ask your question making a new topic." I'm not sure how you split something into it's own topic. I think I was only trying to start over. Let me know what's best and I will be happy to go that direction.

I downloaded the Post Assistant and dropped it in my root directory...when I plug my web address into step (3) below, it comes back saying website cannot be found. Not sure why that is happening unless I need to drop the file into a different director other than (root). Or maybe it doesn't work for Version 1.7.3, as below it says good for 1.5 version.

Installation
1. Download and unzip the attached file (result = jtspost.php )
2. Upload the PHP script to the Joomla! Sites "/" directory
3. Run the script through the browser IE: http://www.mysite.com.au/jtspost_en.php

Joomla! Version Support
(tested with 1.0.14 RC1, 1.0.15, 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 by many of the moderation and translation team members)

So I pulled system info show below in hope this may assist:

You are running Joomla on a Windows IIS server. See the Joomla 1.7 on IIS server forum clues.

I think the source of the problem is this: WebServer to PHP Interface isapi

It should have been "fastcgi", otherwise there will be file ownership/access issues.

There is another version of FPA for J1.7

Are there not other people running IIS to isapi successfully? How would I acquire the "fastcgi" would my host load that on their end (domain.com)? Below is my FPA info. I hope you understand this, b/c it looks like a foreign language to me. Let me know if there is something that stands out. Thanks for your help.

Mod. Note: Moved the topic to the Joomla 1.7 on IIS Webserver forum.

You have to ask your host to change the php to web server interface.
