I'm doing my first 2.5 installation on a server and all goes well until I reach the configuration screen. After filling in the details and hitting next, the same screen returns. If I hit next again then I get the following message:

"The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again"

Refreshing the page takes me back to the pre-installation screen but when I get to the same point again I get the same error.

I've tried deleting and reuploading the files, wiping the mysql database manually but nothing seems to work.

Any advice or assistance greatly appreciated!

Mod. Note: Relocating the topic to the Joomla 2.5 on IIS servers

Joomla 2.5 is not supported in IIS6.0. Minimum is IIS7.0

Do not flag folders and files 777. They will be writeable for everybody.

Files: 644

If you are on a later version and are uncertain of the configuration etc you might like to look at http://www.microsoft.com/web/joomla using Web Matrix will help or there is Microsoft Azure. There is plenty of documentation at M$ for this together with dedicated support that you are not likely to match here at the moment.
