I want to add a chess viewer to a website. I was going to create a customHTML module and then use the loadposition to place it on the home page.

Here is a link to the installation of the viewer (scroll down until you get to step 1):

He says to add the following code:

How would I do this in the customHTML module? Seems all I get is a printout of the code?

Is there no way to add this kind of code in Joomla or run some java script?

I figured it out. :D Best way is to use a module called Flexi Custom Code. Run your pgn file data through CVDs HTML Code Generator here:

http://chesstuff.[URL banned].com/2009/04/html-code-generator-for-blogs.html

Here's what you need in your code section in your Flexi Custom Code module:

After this code, paste the results of what the HTML Code Generator gave you. For example:

Then, I used the loadposition in my home page to add the chessviewer.
