Hello ,,,i need help guys ,,,my 404 error page is not appearing,,,,i dont know why , i contacted my hosting support and they checked the site n didnt find any error,,,,please any help will be so helpful & useful thanks in advance :)

Do you have a 404 redirect or a custom 404 page at all.

You could try putting a 'error.php' file in the root of your templates folder and checking if that works.

thanks guys for the reply,,i have sh404sef & custom page of my template gavick ,,but it seems like nothing is working,,i disable sh404 sef to see if my template error page will display but nothing worked out @ matt777 and i will try your tip Sean Clement ,,and thanks guys again for the help :) ,,much respect

nothing is working,,i tried a couple of different custom error pages but nothing is working at all ,,i dont know why ,,,,i did disable SH404SEF but nothing changed at all and please @ Sean Clement ,,could you please be more specific ,,i am not that much of a coder ,,i barely built this website thanks in advance
