Contactform J2.5 /J 3.3 and Office365

Post by DeRo77 » Tue Sep 23, 2014 9:17 am

Hi all,

Got a nice challange here..
We have 2 joomla sites on http://www.solid-flows.nl
a production J2.5 site on /solidstart and the future J3.3 production site on /solidtest

recently we moved our exchange server to office365 and ever since the e-mails from the contactforms are'nt getting through.. but if you check the copy to myself box, and use an adres outside the domain (gmail) u do recieve the copy.

Forms are set up to mail to the [email protected] using the same administrator e-mail in the server settings.

Looks like mailing to a domain e-mailadres from the site (same domain) does not work.

Tried the following allready:
1. Using a non domain e-mail adress as (to:) contact e-mailaddress --> OK
2. Using contact form from http://www.startmetvinden.nl and mailadres [email protected] --> OK
3. Using a non-domain e-mail adress as administrator adress in serversettings --> NOK
4. Disable domainmail on webadmintool (plesk) and Changing joomla PHPmail to smtp mail using Office 365 SMTP --> NOK
5. tried custom form (chronoform) --> NOK

off course normal mails between colleagues and to the [email protected] box using outlook/OWA and exchange365 sever work fine.

Seems that every mail sent from a joomla install on http://www.solid-flows.nl to a mailadress on @solid-flows.nl or solid-flows.com (sort of internal mail) does not work..

Does any one have a clue where to look?

Hi,

I am not familiar with Office365.
Anyways I hope it works similar than any other mail hostings.
Did you make all changes in regards of authorizing domain with dns records - spf, dkim added it in 365 ? Tested somehow that all settings are done well ?

Btw. if yo used smtp then you probably know whats happened with emails when you sent them ? Check it
