Logged In User Tracking/Analytics - Your Experiences

Post by picus9er » Wed Jan 01, 2014 5:35 pm

Hi,

I am somewhat of a Joomla noob - but I am a seasoned dev, and I am helping out a colleague with a few things on his site.

One thing he is hoping to do is get better tracking of his logged in users to see which restricted articles they have been reading etc.

I am going to look into custom variables for Google Analytics, but i was wondering if anyone has experience with one of the user activity tracking plugins, the ones I have seen do not have a ton of reviews, so I was hoping someone had some experience thay could share.

Thanks

PS, sorry, I tried searching the forums, but i got a message saying i can't use search at this time.

In Google Analytics its self, you can see the chain of how people navigated pages.
