My backend tools are gone!

first im all new to joomla

joomla 1.7

problem

i can login to backend but there are not any tools, there is "View Site" and "Logout"

i need help

How did you install ?

Is it remote or localhost ?

Is it the first time you tried to log in the admin ?

And anything else that might be useful

It was working but i was making new usergroup and then my IE didnt answer,so i try to login with firefox and it was no tools

im running my site on webhotel

Thanks but it is not helping

If it is only your IE broke the usergroups Table when it crashed then replacing the table with a good one should fix things.

i have tried again but with no luck, i looks like its not just user perm.

You could use your backup
