Location of PHP Files for SSL

Hi, I have made an E-commerce website using joomla 2.5.3 and I want to add a SSL for my shop. To do this, my web host said I have to move the files that I want to be displayed securely into the SSL file. Where do I find the individual php files that need to be placed in the SSL or do I need to place the index.php file in the SSL directory only? All help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Niall_cowan,

Most web hosts do not give you a separate folder for the SSL version of your website, but I have worked for a hosting company that did require this. In my experience, what you will need to do is migrate your entire website to this folder, not just the index.php file. Your host may have a different approach to give you, but you'll need to copy all of your joomla files, which would include:

cache/
configuration.php
images/
LICENSE.txt
modules/
robots.txt
web.config.txt
cli/
error_log
includes/
language/
logs/
plugins/
templates/
administrator/
components/
htaccess.txt
index.php
libraries/
media/
README.txt
tmp/
