Hello,

Thanks to all of the other users who understand Joomla's structure!
I'm learning :), with your help of course.

My question is, I really just need 1 article on the main page. How can I setup my article so that I have the banner on top (already done - it's a div in the index.php and styled with .css) and then the 1 article (main) under it? I can move it around and everything with .css, but what I'm having trouble understanding is how to structure this (seemingly simple) content / administration task in Joomla!. Do I really need a category, and then a section? Do I need a Module to put the article in, "like a container". How would you structure this type of site?


I'm going to link to my other 2 pages individually. Meaning, I'm not going to need a menu that shows. Basically, it's 3 pages, and the 2nd and 3rd are going to be small links just at the bottom of the page (disclaimer, and support contact). So, I don't even want a top menu or a main menu. All users will be directed to the main article (which will show on loading as the home page - with no menus).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to structure a frontpage?
