URLs Double http address In links

Post by sounds » Sat Jun 09, 2012 4:24 am

Hi,

Have a small issue i can't figure out.. doing my head in..
Fixing an issue where saving an article would include <p></p> and spaces,
Fixed that by setting JoomlaCK editor plugin settings to use <br> instead of <p>

But now when i save an article, one of the links keeps including the site domain
and main directory in the url, after the actual url that's suppose to be in the link.

Example
The link should be
http://www.mysite.net/Shoutcst_Status/radio_stats.php

But it ends up like this
http://mysite.net/main/"http://www.mysi ... _stats.php"

Any ideas?

Is the URL of the link is defined as Shoutcst_Status/radio_stats.php or http://www.mysite.net/Shoutcst_Status/radio_stats.php?

It's actually a link to another site
http://www.mysite/Shoutcst_Status/radio_stats.php

It looks fine in the code too,
Think there is a mix up in my editor or global settings.

Code: Select all

Now Playing:
{module [54]}
{modal href="http://www.mysite/Shoutcst_Status/radio_stats.php" rel="{handler:'iframe',size:{x:630,y:500}}"}Last Played Tracks{/modal}

Editor has a setting for using Relative or Absolute URL Behavior. You can notice it in the Editor's plug-in.

I suspect that this may have to do with the Plug-in you are using. Check the parameters/options of the plug-in you are using.

I think it has to be the modal/lightbox plugin im using to create the links,
It worked fine, then i edited something in joomlack editor and it started throwing
out double urls, then i tried a different lightbox plugin and the urls from that are fine.
Guess i'll just have to try other plugins, there could be conflicts too as i noticed i've
got several jquery librarys in the site.
