well after looking at all the forums with Iframe and Joomla I think THIS is the EASIEST way to insert iFrame codes into Joomla using an editor.

Copy your iframe code. Go to your article where you want your code. look at the top left corner of the editor where it says [show/hide] click it and paste your code where you want it. press apply on the TOP TOP right corner of your joomla page.

that's it... good luck!

I've had the same problem trying to embed a video file in Joomla 1.7. Here's what I have done and it appears to have worked for me.

You may want to try this:

Go to Plugin Manager/Editor - TinyMCE

Click Basic Options
On the right side of the page almost at the bottom, you'll see

URLs: relative
New Lines
Prohibited Elements: script,applet,iframe
Extended Valid Elements

First, change URLs from relative to absolute
Next, go to Prohibited Elements and remove "iframe"

Save and Close.

Now, copy the EXACT full path URL to the file you want to embed.
Toggle the html editor.
Paste the code into the html window and you should get the results you're after.

Good luck, I hope this helps!

Hi
Is it possible to create an iframe or something like that in the joomla site from the admin part? or is there any extension for this purpose?
I want to display four types of content in a section in single page without reloading the page.
The page will display the four links and when one of those links is clicked, the content associated with that link is displayed on that particular section.

Waiting for ur reply
Thank You

I think by using JCE Editor Or JUMI in joomla you are able to fix all these problem.
With Jumiy you can include php, html, javascript scripts into the modules position, articles, category or section descriptions :

portillodesign nailed it! Works brilliantly in J2.5, and you don't have to worry about the messy management of separating your content between articles and modules and then reuniting them back in the article with a loadposition tag.

Done. Thanks portillodesign.
