Main Menu as a Top Menu Item - sef-url/breadcrumbs problem

I started with Joomla a few month ago so I am quite new.

I am building non commercial information portal. The site will have several Main menus as a Menu Item of Top Menu. So when a user click on one Top Menu item the correspondig Main Menu with its Main Menu items apears on the left. This works fine, however with following problems:

The name of the Main Menu do not apear in breadcrumbs.
The name of the Main Menu is not part of the sef-url between slashes (domain/main-menu-1/article)

I just cannot find a way how to solve these problems. I just hope that this is possible. Can anybody help?
