User Registration Module

Hello All

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am using the Login/Registration module for access to my site
njmusiccity.com

I need to edit the user registration module.
I would like to add Company Name & Phone number.

I cannot find the module to edit.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is no need to modify the registration component itself. The following links should help you to add new fields to the User Profile plugin. You need to enable the User Profile plugin in Plug-in Manager and disable fields that you not need and enable the new fields. The data is stored in the table user_profiles.

Well, what I think is crazy is that in the User Profile plugin there isn't "Lastname" field!

Is crazy think to manage Registration just with "Name" field and/or think to put Name and Lastname in the single "Name" field

...and the fact that you can not publish or not the individual fields!

My 2c worth: having just one Name field solves problems or confusion caused by different types of names. Some users do not want to show their full name, for example. In some countries people are known by names consisting of one word only. In some parts of the world the surname is presented first.

If you want to list the two (or more) parts of the name separately in a custom component or when exporting personal information, you can separate the two parts using PHP or even a MySQL string function.

That's ok, but why not have in that plugin settings a simple way to add and fields, and a way to publish or not the individual fields?
