PLEASE HELP - "Home" menu item is missing

Hi All,

I was working on my site when suddenly the Home menu item disappeared from the front page. I wanted to un-publish it and republish but now it disappeared from the main menu and I can't find it anywhere.

I tried to create a different menu item named Home and got an error that another item with the same name exist.

Any ideas how I can restore the Home item?

UPDATE: I was able to restore the menu item into the main menu but it still not showing on the front page. All other menu items show.

Check in module manager for main menu module is published or not

Ya as vidhi said check your module manager ..

You can also check it form database into menu for menu table and modules for modules table.

If modules is published then published field's value will be 1.

Just to clarify, I have 5 menu items in the main menu (top menu), including the "home".
The main menu is published as well as all menu items.
However, only the "Home" item is missing.

Isn't the Main Menu module used for placing the menu in other positions than the top menu?
