New/Where is this home page content located??

i have looked up help and other forums and researched Joomla and I CANNOT figure this out.
I am trying to edit the content on my homepage. I am new and the page was built before I came along.

There is a section in the middle that reads: "Minipacer featured on national Radio Shack ad"

Everything ELSE on the homepage I can see in the Article Manager except this.
What should I be looking for to find this? Is it a template thing? Is it a menu thing?

hello!

probably it is a module. (hopefully it is a module and not built into the template.)

hover over Extensions -> Module Manager
look for a module title that might make sense for that promotion. it might be in the position of "promotion" but i'm not sure. the page source is a mess. what i do know is that the title is not published. it's hard to determine anything else but thank you for providing a link. very helpful.

so check the modules and see if you can find it. hope this works.

Aha!!!!
There it is!! The text is white so it wasn't showing up when I clicked on that module before so I thought it was wrong.

Thank you for turning me in the right direction to find that hidden guy!

i should have mentioned the white text. spaced it. so happy it is found! well done! i'll wait a bit and refresh since i wanna see what you change it to.
of course if you just don't want it there anymore than unpublish it.
