Top Menu not appearing on new article

Version: Joomla 2.5

Newbie question – I’m new to Joomla and have just created two new articles using the default template. However the Top Menu is not appearing on the new articles I have created.

I’ve googled this question and searched this forum for an answer but it doesn’t seem to be a common problem and I’m obviously missing something when I created the new articles.

In the module manager, check that the menu module is set to appear on all pages.

Extensions -> Modules -> Main Menu -> Menu Assignment
