Greetings all, I'm really struggling to try to get a 1.5.26 site migrated to 2.5. So far I've had no luck with either jUpgrade *or* SP Upgrade, but I'll stick to jUpgrade problems for this post....
I'm attempting this in a site copy in a MAMP test environment. jUpgrade seems to run but gets stuck in some sort of loop on "Migrating undefined". Forum posts have turned up a lot of this (
viewtopic.php?f=625&t=729217) and I've tried several suggestions found here and on redComponent's forums to resolve. So far no good.
Have tried the following:
-- used Akeeba Admin Tools to "repair and optimize" the Joomla database
-- using older versions of Joomla 2.5 (2.5.4, 2.5.2)
-- disabling all plugins with Javascript libraries
-- disabling all components, modules, and plugins that are not core Joomla and are not in the supported 3rd party list
-- disabling all components, modules, and plugins that are not core Joomla
-- running jUpgrade to exclude 3rd-party extensions
-- running jUpgrade with wide open folder permissions
Same results every time. Ideas please? Even suggestions as to where I should look for problems would be appreciated. Thanks!
