Migrating 3.3 content to 2.5

Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

Migrating 3.3 content to 2.5

I have run into an issue: A project that I'm working on using Joomla requires 2.5, and not 3.3. I already created my content (menu, articles, modules, etc.) in the CMS.

Is there a quick and easy way for me to export at least my articles and import them into a 2.5 install?

Akeeba is a backup system and wont help you a bit with this. Question is why you need to go to Joomla 2.5 just because a needed extension is needed? Realize that Joomla 2.5.28 is the last release and the branch has seen End Of Life per 31st December last year! No more security updates nothing.... You want to take that risk? Do not think THAT is a good idea?
