NEw install 2.5
User profile plugin displays on the registration screen but not in the user profile. If I select required fields they work fine on the registration screen but if I attempt to make changes to a profile I get an error that the fields are missing even though I cannot see the fields on the page.

Thanks

This is a core plugin in Joomla.

I get the fields displayed on the registration screen as expected (address etc.) but when I open the profile those fields are not displayed in the profile view or the profile edit pages.

Yes, I have tried with 2.5.3 and 2.5.2 and get the same error. Have looked in the Tracker and find nothing about it. Have raised the question bugsquad groups and am waiting to see if anyone knows anything about it.

Will test in the svn and see if it occurs with that. Methinks it's a default.php file with missing code.

Actually I did find the issue in the tracker (forgot the number) and there was a patched file available for download. It is working now.

found it Tracker 27931 and 28223

The patch is on this page
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla ... m_id=28223

Mark solved

I fired up my desktop and tested in the SVN and there is no problem. Couldn't find which one fixed but you obviously have. Glad you got it fixed.
