Just upgraded one of my Joomla sites to 2.5.4 from 1.7.2
I used to have the content- Calendar Icon plugin installed. Unfortunately this plugin has stopped the site from working. I can get to the admin pages, but getting errors about this plugin when I try to do anything.
The main site will no longer work & I get a fatal error from it.
I cannot see a way to disable the plugin, because if I try via the admin panel I get another fatal error message & it is all to do with this plugin.
Any ideas?
Would removing it manually work?

Use phpMyAdmin to locate it in the database and an ftp client to locate the files for it.

or

Use your backup (the one you should have made before you updated) to restore your site. Uninstall the plugin then update.
