In the template I am using, I am in Options, and there is an option for "Show the system output".

What does that mean?

I don't know whether to check yes or no.

I am using Joomla 2.5 and Nano 2 template (yootheme).

I looked it up there and also browsed the net, and from what I gather it's the template framework that is the output. If you're not a developer and don't want to build most of the website yourself, like me, it's probably best to check "yes".

The "System Output" option will show or hide the main component (i.e. your articles).

Content Settings

This settings group lets you change content related things like date or the to-top scroller. It also allows you to hide the main system output, this is really great if you want to build a page which only uses modules or widgets!

Thanks for the reply, Mark. I have checked "yes" for System Output.
