Translate Template Language File Into Bengali

Hello,

How may I be able to translate English Language file of my template? If someone would be kind enough to guide me on how to do this it would be very helpful for me.

I have the English Language file. Should I just change the English sentences by translated Bengali sentences using Avro?

For example, the Beez_20 template has a language file. In English, it has two files and the the file names are en-GB.tpl_beez_20.in and en-GB.tpl_beez_20.sys.ini. In addition, this template has language files both for admin and site.

So, first check where your template's language files are.

For testing purposes, you could create override language strings and use them. This could be accomplished in the Language Manager (tab: Overrides). Once you are happy with the translation, you could even copy the override file to the corresponding template's language file.

As for as automatic translation tools are concerned, they are not very good. One has to read the language strings created and make changes to make them as meaningful as possible.
